Hello, I'm Daniel, this is my website. I spend my days as an ordinary grad student, by night I fight crime in a form fitting costume. Wait no, sorry that's someone else. In actuality I do spend my days a graduate student in International Relations at the University of Durham in the UK, which is where I live right now. I've enjoyed writing and politics since I was young, and this website is my attempt to combine the two into something, when I grow up I want to make a living at one or even better both.

I spend most of my time doing my research work on ethics and Human Rights in US Foreign Policy, this makes me very topical and very uncreative when it comes to research areas, but it keeps me interested. I also spend a lot of my free time writing various things in the hopes that someone might pay me for them one day. Besides that swimming, reading, movies, and tv take up my time (and drinking too if we're totally honest).

I was born in Cocoa, Florida and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina when I was three. Raleigh is a great place, I had an awkward childhood there but I grew up to be someone that I like (and presumably you do too or you wouldn't have made it to paragraph three of a fairly uninteresting bio) of which my experiences in Raleigh were a big part. One day I hope to return there so that my children may have their awkward childhoods there also. I went to University at North Carolina State University and got degrees in Political Science and Economics, after I graduated I moved to the UK to start grad school.
